Reopen Cambuslang Library

Cambuslang Library has now been closed for more than two years. While this was understandable early in the pandemic most of the libraries in South Lanarkshire reopened last year, yet no date has been given for Cambuslang Library to reopen. It is a vital service, not only for access to books but for reading and study space, computer access for those who do not have this at home, and for children's events and activities. Not everybody has the resources or mobility to get to another library. It is unacceptable that this situation is continuing and South Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture must now restore this essential service in Cambuslang.

We must now demand action as a community to get our town's library opened. Please sign the petition to show your support.
